Sochi is the biggest resort city in Russia placed at the north-eastern Blask Sea shore. It is economical and cultural centre of Russian shore and it also became a Russia’s sport capital after 2014 Winter Olympics. Sochi is the longest city in Russia, second world’s longest city after Mexico, which is 200 km long and Sochi is 146 km long. Tourists like Sochi for its warm subtropical climate, sea, mineral springs, proximity of mountains. Virgin Kolkhida forests of Western Caucasus within the city area are included to the UNESCO World Heritage List.
